NFU Mutual wins ‘Best Home Insurance Provider for Service’ award

The UK's leading rural insurer, NFU Mutual, has been named ‘Best Home Insurance Provider for Service' at the 2010 Moneywise Customer Service Awards last week (17 June 2010).

From January to March 2010 more than 10,000 responses were received and carefully analysed by independent research company CoreData Research.

Readers were asked to consider a number of customer service aspects including: overall customer service, value for money, trustworthiness and level of satisfaction.

Commenting on NFU Mutual's success, Johanna Gornitzki, editor of Moneywise, said: "The Moneywise Customer Service Awards: Who Do You Trust? survey has become one of the most comprehensive studies of trust and customer service within financial services as voted for by more than 10,000 of our readers. Customer service remains a key factor for policyholders when deciding who to insure with and this award identifies NFU Mutual as one of the providers who does right by their customers."

NFU Mutual beat the likes of LV=, Direct Line, More Th>n, Esure and Hiscox to claim its prize at the black-tie gala dinner, held at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London.

The Moneywise ‘Best Home Insurance Provider for Service' award is not the only accolade NFU Mutual's home insurance has won this year. It achieved the maximum five-star rating from Defaqto, the independent financial research company - meaning home cover from NFU Mutual is among the best in the industry.
