Renault launches first-ever dedicated fleet customer website

Previously, web enquiries from Renault’s fleet customers were treated the same as retail customer requests, with no specialist fleet web service. Now the launch of Renault’s new dedicated fleet website sees Renault become even more fleet-focused in terms of further improving its customer satisfaction and being more focused on ensuring its customers’ enquiries are dealt with by the most appropriate outlet.
Renault UK conducted a survey of fleet operators of varying sizes to ascertain which online features would be of most use to them and what they would specifically like to see on a dedicated fleet website. As a direct result of those responses, Renault UK has incorporated many of these requirements into its new fleet website.
The renaultfleet.co.uk website is a comprehensive information point for fleet customers and is structured into three specific areas.
The first area has unrestricted access for guests and gives access to a large amount of information such as a business centre/ dealer locator, price guides, car and van range information, news and industry articles, environmental and safety information and tax calculators.
As well as catering for specialised fleet managers who are experienced within the industry, Renault’s new fleet website also simplifies fleet industry terms and processes for those new to fleet management such as HR Managers.
It offers a ‘Finance Tree’ which defines fleet finance options as well as more detailed explanations. In addition, two glossaries of widely-used useful fleet and fleet finance terms are provided with explanations of their meaning to help train any new fleet managers.
Safety and environmental information is also available as well as tax calculators which also provide customers the option of comparing Renault models as well as find a Renault model that specifically suits the customer’s individual tax budget. Customers can also request information via the website such as brochures, as well as being able to book test-drives.
Guests are provided with the option to register for access to the second restricted area where they access servicing costs, historical price guides and fleet management software free of charge. In addition, all pricing information can be exported from the website as PDFs or excel files and fleet managers can access Renault images and banners to enhance their own intranet systems to boost their Renault promotions or offers.
Tailored kits for fleet drivers in the form of flyers can also be accessed and downloaded when customers register providing useful information on a variety of essential industry topics including duty of care items such as ‘Driving at Night’.
The Fleet Management system available to registered customers on renaultfleet.co.uk is free of charge and unique to Renault. Users do not need to be existing Renault fleet customers to make use of the software and it can be used for car and van fleets.
Before registering guests to the website can download a comprehensive user guide for the innovative software which is developed by Chevin Fleet Solutions, which outlines how the software works and its benefits.
The third area of the new fleet website is for Renault fleet customers. Once you log in, the website will automatically recognise customers and their profiles, and those with access to this area can view their terms, orders and purchases. This does exclude customers who contract-hire as their terms are with their contract-hire companies, rather than Renault UK.
