Oldbury has a new ‘boutique hotel’ off Seymour Road, but whilst you can’t stay there as such, it might just inspire you to create one of your very own!

The new ‘Balmoral’ showhome by Taylor Wimpey West Midlands at Beresford Grove subtly and cleverly combines muted pastel tones with lilac, beige and cream for an understated look and feel – rather like a modern boutique hotel – but also offers luxurious and opulent touches in the lounge and bedrooms.

Gary Hesketh, director at interior designers, Show Business, says: “This inspirational design scheme is the epitome of contemporary urban chic and will really appeal to young professionals and families looking for a practical, comfortable, spacious and ultra stylish new home. It’s very soft, light and user friendly and the idea is that when people walk in they’ll feel completely relaxed, at ease, and at home.

“Highlights in the spacious lounge include wall-to-wall curtains for added luxury while the use of such fabric softens and welcomes. And bedroom two has a very serene and tranquil look, with nothing jarring on the eye, and will make any visitor feel they are being spoilt and well looked after – just like any desirable boutique hotel.

“It’s very striking, but also very simple, because homebuyers are becoming more sophisticated and want clean, practical lines rather than fuss and clutter. However, soft velvets and other expensive fabrics are utilised to give it that proper home-from-home look and feel, so that visitors can instantly picture themselves living here.”

Beresford Grove is a select cul-de-sac development of 48 new homes located less than a mile to the east of the flourishing town centre off Seymour Road. It comprises some seven contemporary designs including luxury apartments, discreet parking courts, plus characterful two/three storey mews homes and four bedroom townhouses, some with integral garage.

And the elegant four bedroom, three storey ‘Balmoral’ townhouse with integral garage features a large kitchen/dining room on the ground floor, whilst the generously proportioned lounge is on the first floor along with the family bathroom and bedroom four. The other three bedrooms are on the light and airy top floor and the master bedroom benefits from a luxurious ensuite.

Current availability is made up of two bedroom apartments with allocated parking from just £89,995 and four bedroom homes with two bathrooms and parking space from only £149,995. The Sales Office is open Thursday – Monday from 10am – 5pm.
