Inspired interiors in Wembley
The design team behind the stylish interiors at two new show apartments, launching on 1st July at St. Modwen’s Central Apartments in Wembley, were so inspired by the highly contemporary kitchen units used in the properties that they created the entire design scheme of each apartment around them.
Helen Fewster, Director at Suna Interior Design comments: “When we started to work on the interiors of the apartments we referenced the stunning Nobilia units in the kitchens and decided that the interior design could pick up from this and use colours and textures to carry the theme throughout the apartments. The kitchen units in the one bedroom apartment have a really stunning wood-grain effect which inspired us to create a colour theme using burnished orange colour accents to reflect autumn leaves and patterned textured wallpaper in a striking silvery grey to reflect tree bark. We’ve also used some clever integrated wall shelving systems in the living space and the bedroom to maximise space and continue the modern feel. The design is vibrant yet sophisticated and should really appeal to a younger market and help give potential purchasers some ideas to help them create a stylish living space.
“The two-bedroom apartment has striking aubergine-coloured kitchen units and as a result we’ve created a really warm, luxurious interior scheme using a palette of deep plums, pale gold and ivory with accents of Navy blue throughout. The master bedroom features walnut furniture and a stunning pale gold upholstered headboard to create a calm, warm feel while the second bedroom has a younger look with white furniture and a navy blue upholstered headboard as well as a striking ‘bird on a wire’ vinyl decoration on the feature wall.”
The two new show homes are located on the 8th storey of the tower at Central apartments and have private outdoor space offering spectacular views of some of London’s most famous landmarks, including Wembley Stadium, the London Eye and Battersea Power Station as well as to Harrow on the Hill and the verdant countryside beyond.
Externally, the striking contemporary apartment buildings feature bold coloured panels and glass balconies which give the fascia character and create a strong identity for the development as part of the area’s regeneration. Internally the apartments have been finished to the high standards one would expect from St. Modwen and offer spacious, open-plan living areas with large windows and, in many cases, sliding doors that open out onto a private balcony.
Central Apartments are conveniently situated less than a two minute walk away from Wembley Central tube station from which journey times directly into London’s West End take just half an hour on the Bakerloo line, or commuters can travel straight to London Euston via the Overground network.
Jon Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen, comments: “We’re thrilled with the stylish interiors of the new show apartments and they should help give potential purchasers an idea of how life could be at Central Apartments. The contemporary décor and furnishings reflect are vibrancy and buzz that Wembley has thanks to the on-going regeneration of the area. The area is really thriving and is proving very attractive to housebuyers, with a number of our purchasers moving from outside Wembley, attracted by the great commuter links and the variety of shops, restaurants and facilities in the area.”
The development is part of St. Modwen’s wider £90m regeneration of Wembley Central and comprises a number of new stores, with popular high street names such as TK Maxx, Bonmarche and Peacocks. There is also office and leisure space, including a landscaped public square with an attractive open aspect, and the abundance of local amenities mean that homeowners can buy into the complete lifestyle that is on offer at Central Apartments.
A home at Central Apartments is competitively priced from £199,995 for a one bedroom apartment, whilst two bedroom homes cost from £249,995. The Sales & Marketing Suite is located on Wembley High Road and is open 7 days a week between 10.00am – 6.00pm.
