The bells are beginning to jingle, the hens are most definitely French and that partridge is singing in his pear tree again. Yes, it’s the sound of Christmas approaching! Renault is getting into the festive spirit with the launch of its new Autumn/ Winter merchandise catalogue, packed full of gift ideas.

The new catalogue, in Renault dealerships now, is brimming with ideal Christmas presents for the kids (big or small!), the most devoted of petrol-heads and Formula 1 fanatics.

The countdown to Christmas gets off to a Twingo-tastic start with a Renault advent calendar, containing eight pull-back Twingo models in different colours and all the equipment, such as mini road-signs, needed to make your own street scene. Priced at £15.00, the calendar includes a cut-out stunt ramp to assemble on Christmas Day!

Budding F1 drivers start here

Amongst the many new products this year, is a wide range of pedal cars, and just like their road-going bigger brothers, they are some of the best-equipped models on the market!

Budding Formula 1 drivers can start practicing early in the ING Renault F1 Team pedal car, which has the same striking, bright livery as the R27 track car and priced is at £200. It is suitable for children aged three to six years.

Renault’s New Twingo has many stunning features, not least the ability for customers to personalise their car with a range of decals. Younger drivers can do exactly the same in the pedal car version (£93.00, ages three-six years), which is in bright red and comes with ‘little girl and little boy mechanic’ sheets of stickers and an alphabet so they can write their first names, ensuring their Twingo is completely unique!

Also new is a Twingo junior pedal car created especially for toddlers aged two years and over. Available in blue or pink, it is £80.00. A new ING Renault F1 Team scooter in the Team colours is made of ultra-light aluminium, with adjustable handlebars and is easy to fold up and carry. It is suitable for ages four years and over and is £41.00.

There are plenty of other pedal cars to choose from including the rally-inspired Clio 1600 with helmet, flag and chronometer (£76.00) and the Le Mans 24 Hours 4CV car (£80.00), as well as a gardener’s Modus with apron and mini-greenhouse of products to grow yourself (£125).

There are two electric models on offer – the limited edition Formula Renault 3.5 racing car in bright yellow, comes with a built-in radio, luminous headlights and brakelights, two-speed gear lever with reverse, indicators and horn (£200, ages three to six years) and a 6V F1 scooter in bright blue and yellow (£120, ages three-six).

Toys with Va Va Voom

Our range of miniatures and models will fill any budding Renault Dealer Principal’s mini garage or can be displayed proudly on office desks as a memento of your first car. And there are a variety of other new toys to make sure this Christmas is full of Va Va Voom.

There is a town scene games mat to drive your mini Twingo or Clio Renaultsport 197 cars around (£12.00), an ING Renault F1 Team 1/32 scale model truck where you can store all your little cars (£20.00) and an Infants Little Garage pack in bright, fun colours for children 18 months and upwards complete with a little Mégane, ramp and lift (£41.00).

For serious collectors, there are three new numbered limited edition models, which are tin-plate toys that have been reissued for 2007 to celebrate Renault’s vast heritage. The 1/12 metal 4CV is bright red with wind-up engine (£69.00). There are two 1/43 scale limited edition models, the Primisteres 1000 KG truck (£32.00) in blue and white, and the Sky Blue 4 CV (£25.00).

There is also a range of new radio controlled cars on offer including the ING Renault F1 Team 1/12 car with remote control, battery pack and charger at £40.00.

Race against your friends

In addition, the new limited edition ‘F1 Panther’ in Team colours and ‘Monster truck, dune buggy’ style wheels and design, is a small car with amazing performance capable of reaching speeds of up to 28.5 mph! It has a proportional digital radio-controlled system and, thanks to Interchangeable frequencies, you can race against five other drivers. Complete with front/ rear suspension, differential gears for optimal handling and remote control, the F1 Panther comes with a large capacity 7.2v battery and charger (with battery) included. Suitable for ages eight years and over (meaning ‘bigger’ kids can also play) and at just £70.00, it is expected to sell-out fast!

Other new toys include a Nitro Booster to launch your miniature cars as far as you can, coming as standard with a three-inch Mégane Trophy and available in four colours, blue, orange, yellow or black (£8.00), an ING Renault F1 Team kids watch at £18.00 and a ING Renault F1 Team child’s suitcase in Team colours with telescopic handle and little gym bag included (£24.00).

For the Formula 1 fanatics in your family, Renault has a huge selection of gifts to choose from including miniatures, scale models such as a1/6 scale resin model in a plexi-glass case (£999.00), a replica F1 car steering wheel (£100.00) and replica 1/2 Fisichella or Kovalainen race helmets (made by Bell racing) at £80.00). Ecologically-aware

Renault launched its eco2 line of vehicles earlier this year, and there is a variety of new eco2 products on available for innovative gift ideas including notepads made from recycled tyres (£6.00) and a Renault eco2 calculator which works on hydro energy, functioning from a drop of water. To keep it working it will require the water to be replenished after it has evaporated, this should last around two to three months. All the components are recyclable and it is £12.00.
