Building on excellence in Anglia

The team at leading homebuilder Persimmon Homes Anglia are celebrating after three of the company’s site managers have been awarded Pride In The Job Quality Awards from the National House Building Council (NHBC).
Ray Winney at the company’s Lark Rise development in Carlton Colville, Mick Suttenwood at Stour Croft in Sudbury and Jason Catling at Woodlands in Barham have all received the accolade for the first time and are now among the top 400 site managers in the country. They will now go forward to the next stage of the competition and compete for the NHBC Seal of Excellence Award which is being announced later this year.
Andrew Fuller, managing director for Persimmon Homes Anglia, believes the sites managers’ dedication to quality and a ‘get it right first time’ attitude has led to their recognition. He states: “Ray, Mick and Jason carry 46 years of housebuilding experience between them and their commitment to their developments, their workmanship and their team is second to none, which is why they are very deserving of this accolade. We look forward to hearing the outcome of the Seal of Excellence Awards in due course.”
Now in its 29th year the Pride in the Job Awards recognise and reward just 400 out of a total of 17,000 site managers who consistently demonstrate commitment to high standards in housebuilding.
