Leading airline, British Midland International (bmi), has launched a new website specifically catering to its Russian customers.

The website, just unveiled, is part of bmi’s dedicated online offering which aims to make it easier for customers to book in their language of choice. The website enables Russian speakers to book flights and access bmi information in their own language and stay up-to-date on news and offers.

The website includes many useful features including fast online booking, details of the onboard and on-the-ground experience such as chauffeur drive information and facilities including The Great British Lounge at London Heathrow.

Tamarah Khatib, General Manager Online at bmi commented:

“bmi is strongly committed to providing the best service for its customers and we are delighted to launch this informative website for the Russian market. It will make booking bmi flights between London and Moscow even easier.”

bmi flies up to four times daily between London Heathrow (LHR) and Moscow Domodedovo (DME) in conjunction with partner airline Transaero. Prices start from £219 return in Economy and £1395 return in Business including taxes.

The flights benefit from convenient connections to bmi services to and from Aberdeen, Belfast City, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester as well as transatlantic and other global connections with Star Alliance partners.

The bmi Business and Economy product is offered on all flights.

bmi recently won the award for Best Airline Website 2010 at the annual Travelmole online awards for the second year running.

bmi has also recently announced new routes to Berlin and Vienna.  bmi now flies five times daily to Berlin and twice daily to Vienna.
