Vauxhall Ampera encounters HRH Prince Michael of Kent

It comes as no surprise that the much talked about extended range all-electric vehicle, Vauxhall’s Ampera, was recently in line for an audience with the Royal Family’s most ardent car enthusiast, Prince Michael of Kent.
A brief introduction at the car’s arrival at Kensington Palace sufficed to provide the Prince with easy to follow instructions in how to drive this exceptional car and to also make HRH familiar with the Ampera’s strong performance ranging from a 350-mile all electric drive to an impressive 0 to 62 mph acceleration in 9 seconds – not to forget its top speed of 100 mph.
Setting the car silently and effortlessly into motion, the Prince soon returned from his drive, expressing how pleased he was with the ride and keen to discover if the car would also be available in black – most certainly a colour which would suit the Ampera’s bold and stylish looks.
Vauxhall has high hopes that the Ampera might soon become the Royal Household’s electric car of choice: A perfect fit for London’s low emission zone, for anyone who wishes to lead by example without compromising on neither comfort nor elegance.
