MINI Convertible car insurance from £99

23rd July 2010 Print

MINI Financial Services is offering customers who treat themselves to a new MINI Convertible this summer a year’s car insurance from only £99.

The introductory offer, which applies to new MINI Convertible models registered between 1 July and 30 September, means eligible drivers could pay as little £99 for annual car insurance if they are aged between 30 and 80 years old, £149 for those aged between 25 and 29 and those in the youngest age bracket, 21-24 years old, paying only £199 . As well as providing potentially huge savings for drivers, the policy includes the reassurance that any repairs would be carried out at a MINI Approved Bodyshop using genuine MINI parts.

This low-cost car insurance means that customers who also take advantage of MINI Financial Services’ car finance plans could find themselves behind they wheel of a new MINI Convertible for a lot less than they might think .

Joe Pattinson, General Manager, Marketing, BMW Group Financial Services, said the offer would help make a new MINI Convertible even more attractive to customers. “Motorists, particularly younger drivers, may be deterred from considering a convertible because they assume insurance will be expensive, but this deal makes a new MINI Convertible an affordable option,” he commented. “We know people are keeping a close eye on their finances in the current climate,” he commented, “and purchasing with MINI Select allows customers to pay a lower initial deposit and lower monthly repayments while also offering a guaranteed minimum value for new cars at the end of the contract term. We’re advising people who haven’t previously considered dealer finance to get in touch and see how affordable a new MINI Convertible can be.”
