“We deal with the majority of questions at valuation stage face to face so that prior to instructions being received, the customer is aware of the various steps – from the first day of marketing the property to agreeing a sales and eventually exchanging contracts.”

Mark added: “We also communicate with sellers within 24-hours after a viewing has taken place to gain honest and frank feedback. This is important as it starts to build up a picture of how the market is reacting to the property.”

Harrison Murray’s listers also conduct regular appraisals on the property and the market itself – discussing customers’ needs in terms of their timescale and the reaction to the current marketing strategy, as well as bring them up to speed on any relevant housing legislation.

Mark added: “Some of our customers may have not moved in the last 10 years, and things move on at a rapid pace. Our aim is to provide the best possible service to the customer, ensure that the process runs smoothly for us and for them.”
