If you’re a first time buyer and looking to buy a new home but are not sure where to start, then Linden Homes Western is here to help. Buying a property is one of the most important purchases you will make and buying a home for the first time will be an even more daunting prospect. Add to this the mortgage products available from a wide range of sources and you are left with a high-stress, confusing decision.

With this in mind Linden is holding a first time buyer’s evening for their Kingston Mills development in Bradford-on-Avon. Here there are a range of homes taking shape including 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom properties. The event will take place from 5-7pm on Thursday 5 August and will be held in agent’s Davies & Davies offices situated in Silver Street.

Not only will the estate agent staff be on hand to give you advice about the local market and the benefits of buying in Bradford-on-Avon, there will also be a selection of advisors from Linden Homes Western, a mortgage advisor and also a solicitor at the event to provide you with all the advice you will need with regard to buying your first home.

Rowena Miles, sales and marketing director at Linden Homes Western, said: “We’re really looking forward to the event as we know that purchasing your first property is a confusing and stressful process so we want to be able to offer as much help and advice as possible.”

Situated right in the centre of the town, alongside the river Avon, Kingston Mills is truly a desirable place to live. Ideally located moments away from the specialist shops, open air cafes and numerous restaurants, Bradford-on-Avon has everything you would need for everyday life, but for shopping further afield, the cities of Bath and Salisbury are within 30 miles. For commuters the M4 is easily accessible and Bradford-on-Avon train station is within walking distance.

Kingston Mills is an important landmark development in the heart of Bradford-on-Avon. The scheme will eventually provide new office space, cafes, restaurants, convenience store, and 170 new homes. 30 per cent of the homes built will be for rent or part ownership – a great boost for an area where opportunities for affordable homes have been scarce up until now. The collaboration between Linden Homes, the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), Wiltshire Council and Selwood Housing Association means there will be a supply of affordable homes for local people within the town.
