Buoyant sales at Canalside as lower interest rates drive demand
David Wilson Redrow South West is reporting robust sales at its Canalside development in Wichelstowe, with 11 homes sold in the last four weeks.
The uptick comes as interest rates stabilise and mortgage costs ease, giving buyers renewed confidence to move onto or up the property ladder.
Canalside is a new development of one and two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom homes with selected properties currently available with £10,000 worth of incentives, giving buyers extra support for a deposit, home upgrades, or Stamp Duty, making it easier to secure a new home in this thriving community.
Louise Ware, sales director for David Wilson Redrow South West, said: “Selling 11 homes in just four weeks at Canalside shows how the right mix of location, design, and support can make a real difference for buyers.
“With interest rates stabilising and mortgage deals becoming more competitive, we’re seeing people who were previously cautious taking the step onto the property ladder. Combined with our incentives, this is giving buyers the confidence to move quickly and secure their ideal home.”
