Swindon home-hunters explore new showhome at launch event

Home-hunters in Swindon had the first chance to take a look around a new showhome at Bellway’s latest development in the town.

The five-star housebuilder unveiled the new four-bedroom Witney showhome at a launch event at its Tadpole Rise development which is being built on land off Tadpole Lane.

The development will feature a range of three and four-bedroom homes, and will become part of the wider Tadpole Garden Village development which will feature 1,700 new homes and a number of community facilities once complete.

Sales Manager for Bellway’s South West division, Rachel Way, said the new showhome was a great example of their homes at Tadpole Rise.

She said: “Opening a showhome at any development is always an exciting time and it was brilliant to be able to welcome our guests into the Witney showhome for the first time.

“The Witney is always a popular housetype, and is a fantastic example of a modern family home. It’s designed to include lots of flexible spaces which can be adapted and changed to suit any family’s needs, whether it is a play room for the children, a home office or anything else which takes your fancy.

“The kitchen is always a hit with home-hunters as well as the master bedroom, which has an en-suite and lots of space.

“Tadpole Rise has been incredibly popular so far, and now we’ve opened a showhome here, we expect even more visitors to come and take a look at what we have to offer.”

Tadpole Rise is one of three developments currently being built by Bellway in the Swindon area. The housebuilder is also building at Fern Hill Gardens in Faringdon, and Westlea Rise, off Chelmsford Road.

A variety of three and four-bedroom homes are currently available to buy with prices starting from £315,000.

The showhome at Tadpole Rise is available to view between 10am and 5pm on weekdays, with a late-night opening until 7pm on Thursdays and 11am until 5pm at weekends.
