New Renault models with impressive residual value forecasts

New Grand Scénic – up to 8.3% RV increase
Launched on 15th May, the new seven-seat version of the pioneering compact MPV is already receiving favourable media reviews, and now the residual value experts seem suitably impressed too.
With quality strides made in terms of fit and finish, not to mention its sleeker lines, over 3 years/60,000 miles, the likely best-seller, New Grand Scénic Dynamique 1.6 VVT 111, has seen a remarkable 8.3% improvement, up to 27.2%, equivalent to a £1,325 increase. In the process, it has moved to third in the compact MPV sector, overtaking among others, the Volkswagen Touran 1.4 TSI SE at 25.7% and Vauxhall Zafira 1.8i Design at 21%. The likely second best-selling model, Dynamique 1.5 dCi 106 has also made significant ground, rising 6.9% to 30% and also moving ahead of Citroën Grand C4 Picasso 1.6 HDi VTR+ at 26.8%.
New Kangoo – RVs up 9.4%
New Kangoo, which launches in the UK on 5th June, has also seen a notable improvement in its predicted values over the same period.
Thanks to a new platform and improved quality, the core seller, Expression 1.5 dCi 86 has seen an impressive 9.4% rise to 32.4% over 3 years/60,000 miles. In doing so, it has moved above Peugeot Partner Tepee 1.6 HDi 75 S at 31.6%.
