A local couple from Stourbridge have kicked off the start of a brand new community in the area having been the first buyers to move to Charles Church’s Crystal Mead development on Kirkpatrick Drive.

Ben and Margaret McGrath have lived and worked in the Stourbridge area for a number of years and when the decision to move house was made, there was never the question of leaving the town and understandably, wanted to keep stresses and strains normally associated with moving house to an absolute minimum.

The couple had been on a long waiting list to secure a home at the development so were naturally extremely pleased to have been able to secure their dream property and the fact that they are the first residents to move in has been an added bonus. Ben said: “We have both grown up in Stourbridge and were keen to stay in the area so when we found out about the Charles Church development, we were determined to make our new home there.

“As we both work full time, we specifically wanted a newly built home because all the interior decorating has been taken care of, we simply don’t have the time or inclination to take on a renovation project! The Charles Church sales advisers ensured the whole process ran like clockwork and we’d have no hesitation in recommending the company to our closest friends and family.”

There’s a range of three and four bedroom semi detached and detached homes currently available at Crystal Mead, all of which are elegantly designed and built to an excellent specification with the attention to detail that is synonymous with the Charles Church name. Prices currently start at £196,950.

Charles Church’s Crystal Mead development is situated on Kirkpatrick Drive, off Auckland Road, on the site of the Wordsley hospital. Many of the old buildings have being retained and sympathetically restored, including the historic clock tower, ensuring the development has a real sense of history.
