Redrow.TV shortlisted for innovation award

Less than six months after its launch, on-line television channel Redrow.TV has been shortlisted for a national award.
Introduced by home builder Redrow to promote its homes and developments around the UK, Redrow.TV is one of four projects competing for the title of ‘Best Marketing Initiative’ in the 2010 Housebuilder Awards for innovation and excellence.
Believed to be a first for the UK housing industry, Redrow.TV is dedicated to all things Redrow, keeping customers up to date with the latest news, products and development in an easy to digest, audio-visual format.
Kim Peters, Redrow’s group sales and marketing director, commented: “Redrow.TV is another great tool for people searching for a brand new home anywhere in the country. Accessed via the internet, with a direct link from our website, it’s available wherever users get broadband – at home, at work, even on their mobile phone.
“It’s rich in content, with a range of interesting and informative videos promoting our New Heritage Collection of traditional looking homes with modern interiors, as well as our show homes around the country, our specification and the locations in which we are building.
“There is also a series of short films explaining different elements of the home buying process and the help available from Redrow, including HomeBuy Direct for first time buyers and Mastermove and part-exchange for those with an existing property to sell.”
Helping to keep it fresh and bring viewers back time and time again, Redrow.TV also features weekly news bulletins from around the UK, plus a national round-up. These weekly broadcasts promote the very latest information about site launches, show home openings and special offers.
“The Housebuilder awards are a highlight of the housebuilding calendar, celebrating the very best of the industry and recognising the achievements of those leading the way in innovation. Two years ago we won the overall Housebuilding Innovator of the Year title for a combination of our regeneration work, community involvement, marketing and training initiatives. We’re delighted to be leading the way once again in a new and different area,” added Kim.
Organised by Housebuilder Media, the leading information provider for the housebuilding industry and publisher of Housebuilder magazine, the awards feature several categories for innovative design, product development, sustainability, regeneration and community involvement, as well as marketing. Winners will be announced in London on October 28th.
