Leeds Building Society wins top customer service award

Leeds Building Society, which has 65 Branches in the UK, has won the award for ‘Best Regional Branch Network' in the ‘Your Money Direct Awards 2010.'

This award is evidence of the superb customer service the Society's staff provide throughout the country.

The ‘Your Money' awards are the longest standing and most highly coveted awards in the industry. Their objective is to reward the providers of financial services who have excelled in their field for the last twelve months.

A shortlist is achieved through providers entering their products, which are then whittled down by price and product offering. The short list is then mystery shopped by a voting panel consisting of 180 ‘Your Money' readers throughout the country. Scores are achieved across a series of set criteria including from time taken to speak to a human, product knowledge and explanation, through to the ability to complete the sales process swiftly with minimal fuss and time taken to fulfil the quote with product literature. The votes are then collated to give the ultimate winner in each category.

Leeds Building Society was presented with its award for ‘Best Regional Branch Network' at an awards dinner held at the Merchant Taylors' Hall in Threadneedle Street in the City of London.
