Miller Homes supports nursery in Allerton Bywater

Award-winning house builder Miller Homes has stepped in to offer support to a local nursery and out of school club after much needed funding was withdrawn.
The nursery, ABC Daycare and Ozone out of school club, is located near Miller Homes’ Millennium Village development at Allerton Bywater and provides much needed child care for many of its residents.
“We are delighted to be able to make a donation to help the nursery develop their outdoor play area,” said Steve McElroy sales director Miller Homes Yorkshire. “We all appreciate the valuable work that nurseries do and the important part they play in our communities.”
The nursery, which was created to fulfil the needs of families at Millennium Village, has been a huge success and provides care for many children including those of Helen Lane, Volunteer Chair of Trustees for the facility.
“We are very grateful for the continued support of Miller Homes,” commented Helen. “We were understandably disappointed when vital funding was no longer available but with generous donations like this we can continue to provide excellent child care facilities for the families of Allerton Bywater. Our nursery Manager, Sara Dean is looking forward to utilising the donation in ways which will best benefit our outdoor play area.”
Millennium Village is a development which has set new standards for contemporary living and is set within beautifully landscaped surroundings. Located on the outskirts of Allerton Bywater the development benefits from being conveniently situated within the M62, M1 and A1(M) triangle, is close to the main towns/city of Leeds, Castleford and Wakefield and has community facilities nearby.
A range of four bedroom townhouses are still available priced from just £164,000.
