Street party success in Newent

A street party to launch new developments in Newent from Barratt and David Wilson Homes proved a huge success at the weekend.
More than 100 people headed to the developments to enjoy entertainment including street games, football, face painting, and a bouncy castle.
There was also music, a BBQ and the official opening of new show homes on the developments which are off Onslow Road.
The event was hailed as a great success by both Barratt and David Wilson Homes, which took a number of reservations over the weekend for the developments which include a range of properties to suit first time buyers and families moving up the housing ladder.
Homes currently available range from three bedroom properties through to larger four and five bedroom homes with prices on the development currently starting from £164,995.
In addition to showing prospective buyers around the show homes at the weekend sales advisers were on hand with information about the buying schemes available from the developers.
Set within the north west corner of Gloucestershire, Newent is a thriving, unspoilt market town offering a wide range of attractions and local amenities. Commuters will find the M5 just a short distance away – with easy access to Gloucester. And the nearest train station, in Ledbury, is just eight miles away.
