A Grimsby family are enjoying their first summer in their stylish new Redrow home, surrounded by countryside and green space.

The Riley family took advantage of part-exchange to swap their old property for a stylish three-bedroom Redrow home at Kirk’s Paddock, Scartho Top in Grimsby, trading life on a busy main road for a well-planned, family-friendly environment.

“My 10-year-old daughter Amber couldn’t wait for the summer holidays so she could play out with neighbouring children every day,” said Helen, who, with her husband Mark, also has a 14-year-old daughter Georgia.

“Amber couldn’t play out where we lived before because it was so busy, but here it is extremely safe and we are surrounded by green spaces and countryside, it’s fantastic, we still can’t quite believe it.”

Helen, who works for the Wallis women’s fashion chain and Mark, a butcher, moved from Cleethorpes to their ‘Kennet’ style home after part-exchanging the property they had been trying to sell for three months. The deal involved Redrow effectively acting as a cash buyer for the Riley’s previous property.

“We looked at various developments in the area but fell in love with Kirk’s Paddock,” explained Helen.

“When we heard about Redrow’s part exchange deal it swung it, because it removed all the hassle of selling our property. It also took away the stress of dealing with viewers and the cost of estate agent’s fees. It was all sorted within four weeks.”

Helen has also been very impressed with the design and layout of her new home.

“It is so well-planned, with alcoves and fitted wardrobes that make everything looks tidy – even the girls’ bedrooms which is a miracle!” she said. “We have a lovely through-lounge and having an en-suite is fantastic – it means Mark and I can actually get into the bathroom in the mornings, an achievement in itself with two daughters!”

Kirks Paddock is a well-designed development of three and four-bedroom homes, boasting lots of open space for growing families, with prices starting from just £135,999.

Located just two miles from Grimsby town centre, it is within easy reach of the coastal town of Cleethorpes and offers easy access to motorway links for Hull, Doncaster, Leeds and Wakefield.

For more information about Kirks Paddock, at Caspian Crescent, Scartho Top, and the advantage of using part-exchange, visit the development, open Thursday to Monday inclusive from 10am to 5.30pm.
