Housebuilder hosts Barham WI

The Claydon and Barham Women’s Institute recently visited the showhome of a brand new housing development to gain an insight into modern interior design and housebuilding, all courtesy of Persimmon Homes Anglia.

The eight ladies from the WI visited Persimmon’s beautiful Woodlands development in Barham and were given refreshments and a guided tour of the magnificent five bedroom Tiverton showhome by sales adviser Paula Harper.

Thelma Powell of Claydon and Barham Women’s Institute, who helped to organise the trip, commented: “It’s been very interesting to look at a new housing development in our local area and Woodlands has been of great intrigue to many of us as we all live just a few miles away. Some of our ladies have come away with some interior design tips and a couple will certainly be telling family about the homes on offer here.”

Persimmon’s expert sales adviser, Paula Harper, added: “It was lovely to welcome the ladies from Claydon and Barham Women’s Institute to our Woodlands site and they were all very keen to learn about what we have on offer, the showhome design and how the development will look when completed.”
