Time running out for buyers at popular Blenheim Park

26th August 2010 Print

Buyers will need to hurry to be in with a chance of securing a new home at sought-after Blenheim Park in Tangmere – with 75 per cent of the development already sold.

David Wilson Homes is celebrating the site’s popularity and believes the success is down to a combination of a more buoyant property market and the range of schemes available to help buyers own their home.

“We are delighted so many buyers have chosen to make Blenheim Park their home,” said Mark Docherty, sales director for David Wilson Homes. “It is a very encouraging sign that the market is showing signs of a recovery – certainly for us.

“Blenheim Park is a superb development giving buyers excellent value for money. It is just outside Chichester, close enough to all the amenities the city has to offer. And we can assist buyers with a number of schemes designed to help them take their first steps on to the property ladder – or to move further up it,” said Mark.

The development offers something for everyone, with a range two bedroom apartments and coachhouses starting from £170,000. And, from £249,995, there is a superb selection of eye-catching three bedroom houses and townhouses.

“Some buyers are able to take advantage of our shared equity scheme so they can overcome the frustration of securing the finances to buy their first homes,” said Mark. “For others, we offer part exchange. This removes all the uncertainly associated with a move up the ladder.”

“David Wilson Homes is a guaranteed cash buyer – so there is no chain, no last-minute price haggling and no hidden costs – and people can stay in their old property until their new home is ready,” Mark continued.

Blenheim Park is located in the village of Tangmere – just three miles north east of Chichester in the picturesque county of West Sussex. “This area is steeped in history,” said Mark. “It is where the RAF station played a pivotal role in the Battle of Britain and is now home to the Tangmere Aviation Museum.”

For those looking to settle in West Sussex, the area has much to offer. Half of the county is designated an Area of Outstanding Beauty. It is covered in acres of green countryside and has miles of spectacular coastline, with some of the finest walking the nation has to offer.

The development offers an ideal base for commuters as the A27 is minutes away, offering an easy commute to Gatwick, Brighton and Portsmouth.

Nearby Chichester provides a wealth of special events throughout the year and its harbour is a haven for yachting enthusiasts.
