Buckets, spades and suncream at the ready! A great day out is coming to Peninsula – Taylor Wimpey’s stunning coastal development of new homes in Dovercourt, Essex.

The leading housebuilder is inviting fun-seekers to a traditional day out on the Essex coast this Saturday 4th September 2010, at its highly sought-after Peninsula ‘resort’.

It’ll be just like the real thing, with sand for building towering castles, delightful donkey rides, deck chairs to have a doze in, plus a good old fashioned Punch and Judy show to keep the family entertained, while those on the lookout for new homes in Dovercourt can find out all about Taylor Wimpey’s Peninsula development.

Free refreshments will also be available, including yummy ice creams, to top off a perfect day on the beach!

Plus, visitors can reserve their favourite Dovercourt properties from the magnificent range of brand new homes at Peninsula, including the handsome ‘Hadleigh’ three-bedroom townhouse and the fabulously spacious four-bedroom ‘Salisbury’.

Stacy Dornan, Associate Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, says: “There is nothing better than a day out at the seaside, and we can promise fun for all the family at Peninsula on Saturday 4th September.

“While there will be a wide range of attractions for the little ones, those considering buying a property in Essex will be able to find out more about living in this brilliant coastal town.

“If you dream of homes on the North Essex coast but don’t think you’d be able to afford one, you may be surprised by the value for money a new home at Peninsula offers, plus we offer a range of time and money-saving incentives to help moving even easier.”

Prices and full details of the new Dovercourt homes will be available to visitors coming along to the event, enabling them to have the pick of the plots.

Ideally situated on the North-East Essex coast, Peninsula offers homebuyers an enviable lifestyle close to Blue Flag beaches, a wealth of restaurants, bars and cafes, a weekly market and monthly farmers’ market and a great choice of shops.

In addition to windsurfing and a wide range of watersports, Dovercourt Leisure Centre in Low Road offers a swimming pool and solarium, fitness suite and floodlit pitch, while facilities for football, rugby, cricket and tennis are also local.

For those who enjoy walking, trails provide the chance to explore woodlands and meadows close to the new homes for sale in Dovercourt, while the country lanes and shoreline also make for perfect cycling, and the National Cycle Network runs from Harwich to Manningtree.

Commuters will appreciate that Dovercourt Railway Station is only half a mile from Peninsula, with regular services to Colchester in 30 minutes, Chelmsford in 60 minutes, and London Liverpool Street in 90 minutes. Road links are also excellent, with the A120 to Colchester within easy reach, and Stansted Airport only 50 miles away.

The seaside fun runs between 10am and 5pm at Peninsula, off Main Road, Dovercourt.

Taylor Wimpey’s showhome and Sales Centre are also open seven days a week, Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm and Mondays from 1.30pm to 5pm.
