Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Suzuki's iconic GSX-R Superbike is dominating the new-look British Superbike Championship, with no less than three now filling the top six slots in the showdown phase of the coveted series.

With current championship leader Tommy Hill the first to be confirmed for the showdown phase on his Worx Suzuki GSX-R1000, Relentless Suzuki by TAS racer Michael Laverty quickly joined the elite pack before teammate Alastair Seeley topped off the Japanese manufacturer's dream team.

As the championship heads into its final phase, only the top-six riders are now able to fight for championship honours, with Suzuki now having the best chance possible with more Suzukis making the cut than any other make.

Suzuki GB racing director and three times British Superbike Champion, John Reynolds, commented, "Obviously we're delighted to have three official Suzuki riders in the top-six of the new format championship. For every rider at the start of the season, this was the target and now our guys have achieved this we can really concentrate on achieving another British title."

Both the Relentless Suzuki by TAS and Worx Crescent Suzuki teams will be out in action for the first showdown round of the series at Croft Circuit near Darlington on 11th and 12th September.
