AOL has announced that TIME Magazine named Games.com a top site on its annual "50 Best Websites 2010" ranking. The magazine's editors selected the AOL's casual gaming site for the list for its ease of use, extensive library of games and variety of options to fit every type of game enthusiast.

"Games like FarmVille have introduced new consumers to the world of online gaming and made it more popular than ever this year," said Greg Mills, Director of AOL Games. "What makes Games.com unique is that we offer consumers a comprehensive collection of free online games across various categories so that they are continually entertained with these fun new games along with their favorite classics."

Games.com is home to free online and downloadable games as well as the Games.com Blog, which provides users with tips, cheats and news on their favorite Facebook games like Mafia Wars and PetVille. In the TIME Magazine feature on their top website picks, editors noted that Games.com provides users with a, "simple, no-brainer place to go for games." The feature also highlighted the site's Game of the Day feature which presents new options for games that users may not have discovered on their own yet.
