New motoring device means safer driving abroad
If you go driving abroad for your family holiday, you know the dangers of having to change habits to drive on the right hand side of the road.
Lanesafe is a new safety device which projects a continuous ‘head up display’ onto a vehicle’s windscreen, constantly reminding the driver which side of the road they should be driving on.
The compact battery-powered device (11cms x 12cms) has a built-in solar panel which charges the battery while driving in daylight hours. It simply attaches to the inside lower part of a vehicle’s windscreen and projects a continuous, large green and red ‘head up display’ constantly reminding the driver what side of the road they should be driving on.
Lanesafe also comes with a 12 volt in-car charger and features a built-in light sensor which automatically illuminates in low-light conditions. Once this is activated you can “switch on and forget”.
The device is designed for use both in the UK and internationally, and features a reversible directional panel which can simply be rotated and refitted to reflect the correct lane direction, leading to safe driving for all the family.
Lanesafe is currently available for £24.95 (Free P&P) online at wallacecameron.com. It includes a handy pocket-sized guide to European Motoring Legal Requirements and Emergency Information covering 40 countries.
