Ferrari 458 Italia voted Performance Car of the Year 2010

The Ferrari 458 Italia has been awarded the title of “Performance Car of the Year 2010” by Auto Express magazine, Britain’s biggest selling weekly car magazine.

In a packed field of 20 of the greatest performance cars on sale in the UK today, it was the Ferrari which was the clear favourite of the judging panel. All cars were scored for performance and handling both on road and on track, as well as for sheer desirability, with the 458 Italia earning top marks in all three categories.

David Johns, Editor in Chief of Auto Express, commented: “The 458 Italia is one of the finest cars Ferrari has ever produced and emerged as the clear winner of our performance car shootout. When we totted up the results it topped the score sheets of all of our judges.”

The Ferrari 458 Italia was launched to critical acclaim at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009 and quickly garnered some of the top awards in the industry, including BBC Top Gear’s “Car of the Year” and “Supercar of the Year”, as well as GQ’s “Supercar of the Year” and MSN Cars “Supercar of the Year” in addition to several other international accolades.
