Swinton Park Cookery School is launching a new Residential Cookery Course in its 2011 programme of courses.

The Cookery School Head Chef, Robert Taylor, will now be running his own weekend event. Robert has previously run the day courses at the school, but this is his first opportunity to run a longer course, which will allow for a more extensive range of cooking styles and skills. “I am really excited about this opportunity” enthused Robert Taylor, “Many of my regular course guests have asked for a weekend course and I am really pleased we have been able to put this package together for them.”

The weekend starts after lunch on a Friday, with two cooking sessions (including a mid afternoon break), which lead into dinner. On the Saturday, the course continues in the morning, with a long cooking session ending with a late lunch. The course ends after lunch mid to late afternoon.

The course costs £350, which includes accommodation in the hotel. Non-cooking partners can stay in the hotel for free, and can attend the Friday dinner and Saturday lunch for an additional charge. Current dates are for February 2011, with additional dates scheduled for later in the year.
