Vauxhall records best ever CV retail share
September has proved a bumper month for Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles, the Luton-based manufacturer registered its highest ever light commercial vehicle retail market share of 17.77%, according to figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles set its previous best retail light commercial vehicle market share back in March 2008. On top of this, sales of Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles were up 99.1% on last year with 5001 vans registered, compared to 2512 in 2009.
Retail van sales were also boosted by the offer of four years 0% APR finance, four years free servicing, a four year warranty and four years AA cover.
“September is the biggest month for van sales,” said Richard Collier, Vauxhall’s National Commercial Vehicles Sales Manager. “I am pleased that Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles achieved an all-time best retail market share for light commercial vehicles, proving that there is always demand among private customers for good quality vans, with low running costs and excellent manufacturer support.”
This year Vauxhall has launched the all-new Movano, a mid-cycle enhancement of the Luton-built Vivaro and a Corsavan with Start/Stop technology.
