GForces increases web support for car dealers

14th October 2010 Print

The UK’s leading automotive web management firm, GForces, is boosting its headcount to meet unprecedented demand from the nation’s car dealers for feature-rich new websites and online marketing programmes.  The firm is seeking recruits for 25 new jobs within the company’s burgeoning IT team before the end of the year.

The various roles on offer include 10 Hypertext Web Developer positions, a Senior Digital Media Planner, Search Engine Optimisation specialists, Account Directors and Web Marketing Assistants – and all the posts need to be filled immediately.

The recruitment drive represents the first phase of GForces’ intensive expansion following the granting of an application to develop the firm’s office facilities, located in Kent.

GForces, which works with more of the UK’s leading car dealers than any rival, dedicates itself to making the internet more profitable for its customers.  And in order to guarantee a consistent delivery on this mandate, the company will continue to grow its 100-strong team.  GForces plans to take on 50 new recruits within the next 12 months, with 20 training placements going to undergraduates currently studying in Kent and the South East.

GForces is no stranger to bucking trends and growing in the face of adversity.  The company has increased its staff levels by 110 per cent in the past twelve months, a significant achievement considering the unfortunate plight of many businesses during the recession.

GForces’ Commercial Director, Tim Smith, said: “We are very excited to be in a position to offer a substantial number of new full-time jobs, especially at a time when unemployment and economic uncertainty continues to trouble the nation.  These skilled roles are undoubtedly fantastic opportunities for talented individuals in one of the most dynamic professional sectors.

“We’re extremely proud of our recent growth,” Smith added.  “It’s testament to how dealers have been embracing online marketing tools and the benefits a sound web strategy can bring to their businesses.  However, the car industry still trails other market sectors in this field and we look forward to helping more dealers realise their online potential in the future,” he concluded.
