A new way to find your dream property in the Home Counties
Harrods Estates is launching a new way for customers to find their dream home in the Home Counties. The discreet bespoke service helps clients throughout the whole home buying process from the initial search to contract exchange and completion.
Mark Collins, Managing Director of Harrods Estates comments: “The property acquisition service leverages our advisors’ in-depth knowledge and extensive network of contacts to provide clients with independent, impartial and commercially sound advice on buying properties and privileged access to some of the best properties available in the Home Counties, both on and off market. ”
The service will launch this autumn in the Home Counties. After an initial, free no-obligation consultation, a comprehensive client brief forms the basis for a pro-active search, just like Kirstie and Phil offer on their popular TV shows. Harrods Estates will use a wide range of sources, followed by tours of the area, property short-listing of properties and viewings.
All searches are supported by detailed property reports. These cover both general data on the area (such as market reviews, local schools and other amenities) and information specific to the property, such as land and planning reviews, advice on investment potential, estimates for development and refurbishment, rental forecasts and estimated running costs.
The service also negotiates offers on behalf of clients and oversees the buying process through to completion, working with solicitors and third parties. Mark Collins adds: “Clients looking for prime properties are frequently extremely busy people who are keen to maintain their privacy. The Harrods Estates Property Acquisition Service offers a discreet, tailor made solution driven by what the client wants, enabling them to make a decision on the best knowledge available.”
The Property Acquisitions service will be managed by May Rahmani, Property Acquisitions Area Manager for Home Counties. May Rahmani joined Harrods Estates Acquisitions department in September 2010, having previously worked with Harrods Estates on International projects and has nearly 17 years property experience.
Prior to working with Harrods Estates, May Rahmani established her own property search company, The Property Advisor and in 2008 presented BBC1’s ‘How to Survive the Property Crisis,’ having previously been employed as an expert on Five’s ‘The Property List’.
