22nd October 2010 Print

Horror film buffs can easily create their own scream-fest this Halloween, as movie-making site Moviestorm.co.uk has released a chilling pack to let anyone create their own animated scary movie.

Moviestorm.co.uk provides movie-making software, allowing anyone to write, produce, direct and edit their own digitally animated movies on their computer. In time for Halloween, Moviestorm has released a special ‘Graveyard’ pack giving users a spooky cemetery and church scene, complete with scary skeletons rising from their graves and ravenous ravens to pick the corpses clean - perfect for creating a Stephen King Pet Sematary inspired thriller.

Moviestorm also has a character generator so you can create your friends and family and turn them into freaky characters, or perhaps make brain-dead celebrities to star in your horror flick. Plus to give your scary movie the ultimate scream factor you can turn it in to a 3D epic with the flick of a switch during the final rendering process.

From total novices to professionals – anyone with a passion for a blood curdling tale can also access a load of ghoulish creatures and spooky scenes available on Moviestorm. From werewolves, vampires, possessed clowns, half-dead zombies, weird aliens to flying bats, bubbling cauldrons, coffins, and cobwebs –all the essentials needed for making your own Omen, Exorcist, Dracula or Frankenstein styled creepy film are available.

Teen slasher film devotees can have a go at creating their own Halloween party movie with props including pumpkins, banners, table dressings and sweets to feature in their own Scream, Sorority Row, or I Know What You Did Last Summer remake.

“Horror film lovers get ready to unleash your gory talents, if you are passionate about the genre get to grips with your own storylines, props and departures of cast members in spine tingling manner. This pack is a fun and harmless way for you to try your hand at a most revered film genre and share your creation with your friends at Halloween” says Andrew Kennedy, MD of Moviestorm.
