Mini financial services extends £99 Mini car insurance offer

28th October 2010 Print

MINI Financial Services is extending its offer of a year’s car insurance from only £99 to customers purchasing any new MINI Convertible.

The deal, which has been extended to run until 31 December 2010, now includes the new MINI Clubman and applies to new MINI Convertible and Clubman models registered between 1 October and 31 December. It means eligible drivers could pay as little £99 for annual car insurance if they are aged between 30 and 80 years old, while those aged 25-29 years old will pay £149 and 21-24 year olds £199 . As well as providing welcome savings for drivers, the policy includes the reassurance that any repairs would be carried out at a MINI Approved Bodyshop using genuine MINI parts.

This low-cost car insurance builds on MINI Financial Services’ competitive car finance plans, which means drivers could find themselves behind the wheel of a new MINI Convertible or Clubman for a lot less than they might think.

Joe Pattinson, General Manager, Marketing, BMW Group Financial Services, said the offer was being extended in response to strong positive feedback from customers. “Motorists, particularly younger drivers, may be deterred from considering a new car because they assume insurance will be expensive, but our insurance offer shows that a MINI Convertible or Clubman is an affordable option. In fact, purchasing with MINI Select allows customers to pay a lower initial deposit and lower monthly repayments while also offering a guaranteed minimum value for new cars at the end of the contract term. We’re advising people who haven’t previously considered dealer finance to get in touch and see how affordable a new MINI can be.”
