Star-spangled dining at Park Plaza Hotels
Park Plaza Hotels and Resorts is doing its bit to improve international relations by offering discounts for American diners in honour of Thanksgiving.
To claim the discount, which will run at a selection of Park Plaza's London properties from Thanksgiving on Thursday 25 November until Sunday 28 November, diners simply need to present their US passport. A rousing rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner will also be taken as proof of nationality.
The offers include:
* 25% off the total food bill at Park Plaza County Hall's Spectrum restaurant. Spectrum, which is suspended on the hotel's mezzanine level and set under the spectacular 14-storey atrium, has recently introduced its new autumn menu. Highlights include a smoked duck and chicken terrine, a pork belly with bramley apple and onion puree and crackling and a brioche bread and butter pudding.
