From children decorating stockings for Father Christmas to fill with candy to adults caroling with cocktails, the Hyatt Regency Curaçao Golf Resort, Spa and Marina will spread the holiday spirit with themed activities, festive amenities and charitable donations, making the 350-room resort a memorable holiday getaway.

The resort’s Christmas from the Continents, including special international cocktails and treats, will offer guests the chance to celebrate with the resort staff’s 20-plus nationalities.

This winter season, young (and young at heart) guests checking in at Hyatt Regency Curaçao will receive stockings to decorate, hang outside the door and be filled with candy on Christmas Eve by the resort’s staff. Camp Hyatt Arawak will offer children the chance to build their own Christmas town in the sand, decorate an ‘island tree’, participate in Piet & Sint hunts (scavenger hunt) and 'pepernoot' (Sinterklaas cookie) races or to get creative with Christmas hat making and face painting classes. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy live daily entertainment at the resort, ranging from jazz bands to Flamenco dancing.

The Dutch were involved with the cinnamon trade for hundreds of years and because of this, during the entire month of December, the culinary team at Hyatt Regency Curaçao will incorporate cinnamon throughout restaurant menus, cocktails and turn-down amenities. Children and adults alike are also invited to get creative and satisfy their holiday hunger with cookie and gingerbread house decorating classes led by the resort’s pastry chef. Each restaurant will celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas in its own way. SWIM will have 12 special cocktails and candies of Christmas, SHOR will have 12 holiday martinis and MEDI will have 12 pizzas and sangrias of Christmas. The Christmas Day buffet at MEDI restaurant will include seasonal salads, roasted lamb, ravioli with mascarpone and cranberry, crepe and carving stations, cooked-to-order paella and traditional desserts such as Bûche de Noël and Panettone.

Holiday-themed amenities will provide a warm welcome from check-in to check-out at the Hyatt Regency Curaçao. Upon arrival, children will receive arts and crafts packages and guests can even take a piece of Hyatt Regency Curaçao home when they receive Christmas tree ornaments as souvenirs. Visitors can get cosy in the resort’s Great Room (lobby) or watch holiday movies on the beach as they celebrate the season with cocktails, carols, cookies and hot chocolate.

As part of Hyatt Regency Curaçao’s efforts to give back this holiday season, toys such as maracas will be made on property by children during arts and crafts events, and then delivered to a local charity that assists underprivileged children on Christmas Day.
