Ambulance worker Alison Holland has discovered her ideal retreat from her busy working life at Taylor Wimpey’s Wentworth Place development of houses and flats in Crawley.

Spending her working life on board an ambulance means Alison Holland appreciates the quiet life after a busy shift at work.

Peace and quiet were near the top of her list when she was looking to buy her first apartment, and she found just what she wanted at Wentworth Place, Taylor Wimpey’s tranquil development of new homes in Maidenbower, Crawley.

“Wentworth Place is just perfect for me,” says the 41-year-old Ambulance Care Assistant, who is based at Crawley’s ambulance station – just a short commute from the development of apartments and houses for sale in Crawley.

“It’s that little bit further away from the hustle and bustle of Crawley town centre, but near enough to all the local amenities I need.”

The peace and quiet Wentworth Place offers was matched by the peace of mind Alison had when buying her very first home at the development of property for sale in Crawley.

“It was such a simple, straightforward process from start to finish,” says Alison, who had been living with her mum in Purley, Surrey, before moving to her brand new two-bedroom apartment.

“Maidenbower was one of the areas I knew I wanted to look at, and after looking on the internet, I found the Taylor Wimpey website.

“I visited the development and reserved the apartment, and enjoyed a totally stress-free time, all thanks to Taylor Wimpey.

“The developer found me a mortgage broker and solicitor, and I was kept well informed throughout the buying process. It was so simple!”

Now Alison is settling into life in her brand new home, and getting used to the little luxuries a brand new Taylor Wimpey home offers.

“I have an open plan kitchen/living room, which is really spacious, and I’ve even got a balcony,” says Alison.

“The bedrooms are a really good size and one is en-suite, so I feel really spoiled.”

A selection of two-bedroom ‘Cowdray Court’ apartments is available to reserve now at Wentworth Place, priced from as little as £169,995.

Each apartment benefits from a spacious lounge/dining room with an open-plan fitted kitchen including integrated oven, hob and hood, an en-suite master bedroom, plus a further well-proportioned bedroom and a main bathroom off the private entrance hallway. Outside there is an allocated parking space.

Apartments are available for first-time buyers under Taylor Wimpey’s Easy Start shared equity scheme, which lets qualifying customers secure their property now for just 85% of the full listed price – freeing them from months or even years of saving.

Incentives can be tailored to customers’ individual requirements and are subject to availability, with full details, including terms and conditions, available from the Sales Executive at each development.

Comprising a highly desirable collection of just over 100 homes, Wentworth Place enjoys an excellent position in Maidenbower, which retains much of its village appeal and has a pub and a big park with tennis courts at its heart.

The self-contained community also boasts everything for daily life within walking distance, including shops, a gym, healthcare and schools from nursery through to secondary.

Nearby Tilgate golf club and nature centre provide plenty of activities, while the Worth Way, the route of the old railway line, offers an excellent cycle route.

To find out more about the new homes for sale in Maidenbower, Wentworth Place is located off Lucerne Drive, and opens Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
