Taylor Wimpey welcomes new arrivals in Wem!

When it comes to multi-tasking, challenges don’t come much bigger than having a baby and moving to a new property on the same day!

But proud parents Stephanie and Matthew Hamer managed both with the minimum of fuss thanks to Taylor Wimpey’s easymover scheme, which took all the stresses and strains away from their big move to a brand new Shropshire property.

“It was a pretty hectic time but, thankfully, Taylor Wimpey’s help meant everything went smoothly,” remembers self-employed agricultural worker Matthew (31).

“The day we left our old place in Shrewsbury, Stephanie (32) went into labour, and she gave birth the following day when we moved into our new home in Wem.

“Having the removal service meant we didn’t have to put anything off because they took care of everything for us. Not everyone gets to celebrate the birth of their baby on the same day as moving house, and it turned out to be an exciting day for all of us!”

Matthew and Stephanie decided to look at Taylor Wimpey’s properties for sale in Shropshire so they could bring up baby Nathan and his three-year-old brother Alfie closer to Stephanie’s parents’ home in Wem.

“It worked out brilliantly – Taylor Wimpey took care of all the paperwork and kept us fully up to speed with what was happening. We had a viewing within a week of the property going on the market and then the next thing we knew we’d sold it.”
