Win London 2012 Olympic tickets with Santander Visa Debit Card
From 1 December 2010, Visa is offering Santander-issued Visa Debit Card customers to be among the first to access tickets to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, by giving them the chance to enter in to a prize draw to win tickets. The promotion with Visa, a presenting partner of Team 2012 and Worldwide Sponsor of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, will be open to all Santander current account customers with a Visa Debit Card issued by Santander.
And it couldn't be easier to enter! All customers have to do is buy goods and services between 1 December 2010 and 31 January 2011 with their Visa Debit Card issued by Santander and they will be automatically entered in to a prize draw to win tickets to the much anticipated London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Prizes include tickets to the Olympic and Paralympic Games plus five lucky customers will win the opportunity to meet with some of the Team 2012 athletes. Every time a customer makes a purchase with their Visa Debit Card issued by Santander, they will be entered in to the prize draw.
Nici Audhlam-Gardiner, Banking Director at Santander, said: "We are proud to be working with Visa, an Official Partner of London 2012, to offer our customers this exciting opportunity."
Through Visa, Santander can reward customer loyalty during one of the busiest times of the year for Visa Debit Card use. Every time a customer users their Visa Debit Card issued by Santander to pay for everyday items such as petrol, shopping, online purchases and cashback, they will automatically be entered in to a prize draw to win one of the 100 pairs of tickets to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The more customers use their Visa Debit Card issued by Santander, the more chances they have of winning.
Research from Visa Europe shows that Visa Debit Card use in the UK tends to rise by an average of 17% in December, with the number of transactions rising by 22% compared to the monthly average throughout the year. Using a Visa Debit Card instead of cash, when making payments, has a number of benefits including added convenience and safety for the customer and can be used for the following:
Pay for everyday items such as petrol, shopping and eating out;
Pay for online purchases;
Pay bills online; and
Obtain cashback, with most retailers offering up to £100, as a convenient alternative to a cash machine withdrawal
