Daihatsu banishes shopping blues

4th February 2009 Print
Daihatsu dealer, Bob Gerard Ltd, will be attempting to banish the humdrum weekly shop by displaying a range of shiny Daihatsu cars at the High Cross Mall from 23rd February to 2nd March.

In an attempt to bring the product to buyers who may not be familiar with the Japanese compact car brand, the display will be located outside the John Lewis store – 1st level – which is set amongst the Mall’s selection of stores and a variety of designer boutiques, from the traditional to the cosmopolitan, over two levels.

With the credit crunch biting hard and ever-rising motoring costs, Daihatsu’s range has a superbly fuel efficient engine and some of the lowest emissions in their classes, which qualify for low bands of vehicle excise duty: an incredible £35.00 on Sirion 1.0-litre models and from £170.00 on the award winning Terios 4x4… all with an astonishing five-year, unlimited mileage warranty and five-year roadside recovery. To tempt you even further, the Terios now comes with an amazing five years’ free servicing.

Daihatsu’s proven reliability (rated one of the top three car makers in Which? Magazine’s Car Awards 2008) demonstrates why so many people are enjoying downsizing with Daihatsu: the home of reliable and economical motoring.

For a test drive of one of the following vehicles: Terios; Compact, agile SUV 4x4 with A/C from £12,725 (as driven by Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear TV Fox hunt tale); Sirion; Five-door supermini with A/C from £8320; Materia; Five-door MPV with A/C from £10,770 and Copen; Open-top two-seater with A/C from £11,745.

All shoppers need to do is go along to Daihatsu’s display and ask for a test drive – what have you got to lose?
