You’d better hurry if you fancy giving your home a designer look at the fraction of the price. High-end home goodies are selling fast at the new Bobath charity shop in Cardiff following a lavish donation from local housing developer Lovell.

Lovell has given a bumper package of top-quality home accessories from one of its designer showhomes to the Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre in Wales (which provides therapy for children with cerebral palsy) for sale in the charity’s first-ever shop.

The super-stylish homeware donated to Bobath ranges from contemporary designer vases, table lamps and photo frames to silk and suede-effect cushions and top-quality bed linen as well as modern kitchen and dining accessories – in fact, everything you need to give your home the perfect finishing touch.

Modern and luxurious look
“We thought this was a fabulous opportunity for people to snap up some wonderful things for the home,” says Lovell regional sales manager Kate Rees. “They all come from the former showhome at our outstandingly popular development at Maes Ifor, just outside Cardiff, where our professional interior design company created a modern and luxurious feel using a colour palette of amethyst, silver and black. The company is a longstanding supporter of Bobath and we thought it would be great to help out the new shop by giving them some of the fantastic home accessories that helped make the showhome so special.”

“Getting such a generous donation has given the shop a huge boost and we’re incredibly grateful to Lovell,” says Bobath fundraising manager Gail Griffiths. “The shop, which is a new venture for us, has had excellent support and is going to be vital in terms of providing the charity with a steady income stream and raising our profile in the community.”

The Maes Ifor development by Lovell at Taffs Well, north of Cardiff, has been such a hit with homebuyers that only one property remains for sale - a four-bedroom detached home available for a limited period only at just £259,995.

Close to the capital, the homes at Maes Ifor also benefit from a highly desirable village location with stunning countryside all around. The city centre is just a five-mile drive away, or a 15-minute train journey. The remaining home available for sale is a beautifully designed four-bedroom detached property benefiting from a garage, a view of the Garth mountain and south-facing garden.

The Welford house style’s ground-floor accommodation features the kitchen, family / dining room, spacious living room, cloakroom and hall. Upstairs is the master bedroom with en-suite and fitted wardrobe as well as three other bedrooms and the family bathroom.

Just north of Cardiff, Taffs Well nestles alongside the River Taff. The development is convenient for the A470 and about two miles from junction 32 of the M4, with Taffs Well rail station only half a mile away.

To find out more, or arrange a viewing, please visit the Maes Ifor marketing suite, off Moy Road, Taffs Well, Cardiff CF15 7AT. The sales office is open from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and from noon to 5pm on Sunday.
