Daihatsu dealer Conders supports Free Kicks Foundation

8th April 2009 Print
Daihatsu Japanese compact car specialist, Daihatsu, have joined forces with children’s charity, ‘The Free Kicks Foundation’ to ‘score’ over £3,500, by visiting all 92 English League football grounds in a record 92 hours.

Steve Thorpe, one of the charity founders, took a Daihatsu Materia, provided by local dealer Conders Garage Limited, over 2,500 miles during their marathon drive last month. Free Kicks provides football related activities for ill, bereaved and disadvantaged children and give them a day to remember with their favourite football club. The days out, or ‘Kicks’, have successfully provided opportunities for numerous children since it began in 2007.

Alastair Hayden, After-sales Manager, Conders Garage Ltd, said: “When Free Kicks approached us for a loan of a Daihatsu, we were only too pleased to help, and I am delighted they managed to raise more than their aim.”

Family-owned dealership, Conders Garage Ltd, first opened its doors more than 30 years ago and offers a full range of new and used Daihatsu products at its bright, warm and welcoming purpose-built showroom in Newark Road, Peterborough.
