Barclays extends support package to snow impacted businesses
Responding to the implications of the heavy recent snowfalls, Barclays Business is offering a financial support package to all of its affected business banking customers.
Travers Clarke-Walker, Director of Product and Marketing, Barclays Business, said: "Snow is impacting across the UK, making it impossible for some businesses to operate. We can take some of the worry off our customers with our targeted package of support.
"We've helped our customers like this before, particularly in the flooding in recent years, so we know that our customers sometimes need us to take that extra step to help when the weather is against them.
"Our customers should contact their Barclays Business Manager as soon as they can to discuss how we might support them with concrete measures that meet their needs and help ease the pain a little."
Barclays is offering
tangible support by easing the burden on cash flow. This will allow businesses time to recover from the immediate impact of snow.
cash flow support, which can take the form of a capital repayment holiday of up to 6 months on customers' existing loans.
extending or increasing overdraft facilities
granting interest roll-up on loans for up to six months.
