Successful first year for Renault Pro+ Centres

Renault Pro+ marks its first anniversary this month, after opening its first branch at the end of 2009 at Renault London West in Acton.

Renault Pro+ is Renault’s one-stop shop for business customers, offering specialist business sales and after-sales advisors, along with demonstrations and displays of the entire van range, including conversions. As the number one selling light commercial vehicle brand in Europe for 12 years, Renault understands the importance of commercial vehicles as work tools and business customers can expect fully-trained staff who understand their needs.

Renault Pro+ offers extended opening hours to ensure that vans and cars are off the road for as little time as possible and that customers get a suitable courtesy vehicle. Personalised finance proposals, estimation of work time for all repair work and diagnostics within the hour are also part of the service.

The first Renault Pro+ site was officially launched by Red Bull Racing Formula One Driver Mark Webber at Renault London West at the end of last year. There are now a total of 24 Renault Pro+ dealers covering the UK from Ness Motors in Inverness down to Bristol Street in Exeter and across to Toomey Basildon, with five more planned for 2011.

Investment at each subsequent Renault Pro+ site means that each has the capability to service and maintain all makes of vehicle up to vans weighing in excess of 3.5t. There is also a dedicated business customer area at each location.

To ease the management of fleets, Renault offers the option of adding Renault iCare, a ‘pay-as-you-earn’ proactively managed maintenance package. Renault i-Care takes care of all routine Servicing, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) - excluding damage, neglect or abuse - with the option to include fair wear and tear on tyres for the life of the agreement on a ‘pence-per-mile basis, which is monitored remotely by telematics.

Commenting on the initiative’s success, Darren Payne, Renault UK’s Director of Fleet and Commercial Vehicle Operations said, “Renault Pro+ was launched a year ago to ensure that business and fleet customers can find everything they need on one site. Since then, we’ve opened 23 more sites across the UK, and plan to have 29 by the end of 2011.

“The success of Renault Pro+ is down to our understanding of business customer needs. We know that they are under pressure to keep up productivity and therefore demand a specific level of service. Renault was a forerunner when it created the Renault Business Centre network for its business customers back in 1999 and now, one year on from the launch of the Renault Pro+ brand in the UK, we’re continuing to develop our services to meet the needs of our customers.”
