High spec Tipton homes attract new family

High specification family homes in Tipton ticked all the right boxes for Tanya and Michael Westwood, who were the first customers to reserve a property at Redrow’s Heritage Gardens venture.

Tanya explained: “We were living in Derby because of work commitments but when we discovered that I was expecting our first child we decided we wanted to move back to Tipton to be closer to family and friends.”

Their home in Derby was brand new when they bought it and they made a conscious decision to look for another new build property.

“Buying new you can choose to fit out the property to your own personal tastes from the kitchen cupboards to carpets. We really enjoyed the experience and it’s so much easier than inheriting someone else’s decor,” Tanya commented.

“We knew that Redrow were building in Tipton and decided to put our old home on the market while we waited for the homes to be released for sale.

“We got an offer on our old home and so moved in with Michael’s parents while we looked for somewhere new for ourselves. When we visited Heritage Gardens we were really impressed and reserved a four-bedroom ‘Shrewsbury’ off-plan.

“It’s a traditional looking home and there’s nothing else around like it. The Redrow specification is higher than a lot of other builders. You don’t have to worry about buying kitchen appliances as they’re integrated into the designs.”

The daughter Lacie was born on November 3 and it’s hoped that they will be able to celebrate her first Christmas in their new home.

“The Redrow sales team have been really helpful. Because there wasn’t a show home for the style of house we bought they talked us through the plans and really helped bring it to life for us,” Tanya added.

Current availability at Heritage Gardens includes a selection of homes with three and four-bedrooms, with prices from £174,995. Inspired by the architecture of the Arts and Crafts movement, the properties look traditional from the outside but are bright and modern on the inside.

Set in the heart of the Black Country and close to the centre of Tipton, Heritage Gardens boasts strong transport links with easy access to Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

To experience all that a brand new Redrow home has to offer, visit the show homes, open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
