Cox & Kings is launching a special one-off departure of its popular group tour Japan's Cultural Treasures to experience the colourful Takayama Spring Festival and see the stunning cherry blossom.

Priced from £3,695 per person this 12 day / 10 night group tour, two days longer than the regular group departures, also visits the country's most famous sights and hidden treasures including Mount Fiji, Hiroshima Castle and Hakone National Park.

Cox & Kings' Far East Product Manager, Yaow Butwisate-Lok says, "Takayama's Spring Festival is one of Japan's biggest and most colourful festivals. Located in the Japanese Alps, in rural Japan away from the normal tourist path, the festival provides an excellent chance to experience a different side of Japanese culture. Spring is the best time of year to visit Japan as days are relatively mild and clear and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom"

Departing on 8 April 2011 the tour is priced from £3,695 per person and includes international flights from London via Helsinki with Finnair, transfers, excursions and accommodation with breakfast daily and other meals as specified.
