Discover Redrow's new homes in Plymouth

Plymouth homebuyers can now imagine themselves living in one of Redrow’s new homes from the comfort of their armchair.
The award-winning housebuilder has produced a special film that is now available to watch on its award winning broadband television channel, Redrow.TV; giving viewers a sneak preview of its latest homes at Vision, located close to the coast and countryside on the historic former site of the South Yard Enclave.
This short video clip gives buyers a taste of the rich and fascinating history of the Devonport area as well as the fantastic local amenities on their doorstep, including the great transport links, local shops and Plymouth’s Sound Harbour. It begins hovering high above the new homes giving the viewer an aerial picture of the site, then takes them on a tour around the development and inside a beautiful show home to showcase the high specification on offer.
Vanessa Randall-Short, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), said: “In our experience the internet is now the first port of call for many people searching for a new home. Therefore, by giving them more to see of their chosen developments, we hope it will further tempt them to come and visit us on site.
“The film clip is just a small taster of what we have on offer at Vision. Viewers are taken inside the three-storey ‘Sound’ show home, with its open plan lounge / dining room, separate kitchen and four spacious bedrooms, including an en-suite to the master bedroom.
“The video serves as an informative guide to the history of the development and the surroundings, close to the coast, beautiful Dartmoor National Park, and, of course, Plymouth city centre.
“The next step for potential purchasers will then be to visit the development so they can see everything it has to offer first hand.”
A selection of one and two-bedroom apartments are available, priced from £100,995, alongside two bedroom homes, priced from £145,995 and four-bedroom townhouses, priced from £165,995.
The site was once part of the town centre, which was heavily damaged during the blitz of World War II, and was requisitioned by the MoD shortly afterwards.
Four years ago, with the site now surplus to MoD requirements, Redrow was chosen as preferred developer by national regeneration agency HCA to build a development of 460 new homes together with a range of community facilities.
Redrow is now partway through its major facelift of the former South Yard Enclave, which is revitalising the local economy.
Vanessa added: “Our Vision development is playing a major role in rejuvenating the heart of the Devonport community with hundreds of new homes, alongside shops, offices and community facilities. An area of the town centre that was previously ‘out of bounds’ to local people is once again a place for them to live, work and play.”
Redrow has several incentives, which could make purchasing a home easier than you thought. Visit Vision or or log onto redrow-vision.co.uk to find out more.
