New show homes now open in Inverkip

There was fun for all the family as Redrow opened two new show homes at Sylvan Brae in Inverkip.
Inspired by the architecture of the Arts and Crafts movement, homes from the New Heritage Collection look traditional from the outside but are bright and modern on the inside.
Sylvan Brae is the latest development to feature designs from the New Heritage Collection and to celebrate its launch, Redrow invited celebrity chef John Quigley to put the kitchens to the test with a demonstration. A children’s entertainer kept youngsters occupied, while mind tricks were also performed on visitors.
However, no mind tricks were needed to convince visitors of the appeal of New Heritage, as Mary McHutchison sales manager for Redrow Homes (Scotland), explained.
“At Redrow we take pride in building family homes that people really want to live in and judging by the feedback from visitors to Sylvan Brae we’ve hit the nail on the head,” said Mary. “Echoing customer focus groups we’ve already held elsewhere, including Fife, they told us that they like the open plan layout of the homes. It was great to see one of the kitchens being put to good use by John and it helped potential purchasers to picture themselves cooking there.”
The ‘Crossford’ and ‘Skelmorlie’ show homes each enjoy a convivial design with a combined kitchen, dining area and family room, plus the benefit of a separate lounge for privacy or more formal entertaining.
Kitchens at Sylvan Brae enjoy the convenience of integrated appliances, with tall units and wide drawers offering plenty of storage; while sleek modern bathrooms enjoy quality fixtures and fittings that are pleasing to the eye.
Current availability includes three-bedroom properties, on the market from £186,000; with four-bedroom homes available from £191,000.
“Buying a new home is a big decision and one that shouldn’t be taken lightly. With a visit to the show homes at Sylvan Brae house hunters can truly appreciate the layout and establish the quality and finish of our properties. Some may even choose to replicate the look that our teams of professional interior designers have created,” Mary added.
The village of Inverkip is home to a local store and post office, plus a well regarded primary school and library, as well as having one of the largest marinas in Scotland, providing supplies and support for over 700 pleasure craft.
A full range of amenities are available just six miles away in Greenock and Redrow’s new homes are close to Inverkip railway station, from where the journey to Glasgow Central takes approximately 45 minutes.
