Taylor Wimpey Midlands celebrates storming success

The team at Taylor Wimpey Midlands has reason to celebrate following a successful year of sales which has seen them help 386 house hunters across the region realise their property dream.
A customer satisfaction score of 88%, NHBC award winning site managers and schemes that provide a real chance of moving in a difficult market, has meant that for many Midlands house hunters Taylor Wimpey has been the only choice for them.
Anne Wallace, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “The success we’ve experienced this year demonstrates that the demand for high quality homes in the right location is most definitely there. Despite the hurdles facing today’s house hunters, moving on or up the property ladder is a possibility because of the fantastic schemes we have in place.
“With 108 homes already sold for 2011, accounting for 30% of the year’s business, and new developments due to launch we’re confident that we’re going to be replicating, if not exceeding, the success we’ve had in 2010.”
Savvy first time buyers haven’t let house prices and high deposits stand in their way; with 141 of them across the region using shared equity schemes, including HomeBuy Direct and Easystart, to help them get a foot on the ladder.
£4.6m of Taylor Wimpey Midlands business has been through house hunters taking advantage of its Part Exchange and Easymover schemes – ideal if you’re struggling to sell your own home, and cash is proving to be King, with 75% of sales at its Diglis Water development in Worcester being from cash buyers. In fact such is the demand at this development that riverside penthouses that won’t be ready for occupation until 2012 are already being snapped up.
Anne adds: “There are many benefits to buying a new home; not only is the process more straightforward, you get a 10 year NHBC warranty for peace of mind and will find maintaining and running your home much cheaper than a second hand property. Whatever your home buying predicament we’re confident that we’ll be able to help, so if you’re interested in making 2011 the year of your new home pay one of our developments a visit to find out more.”
Taylor Wimpey Midlands is currently building a selection of homes across the region including Grafton Gate in Roade. For further information call or visit the development, or log onto: taylorwimpey.co.uk/midlands
All developments will be closing for Christmas on December 24th, reopening on Sunday 2nd January where there will be new 2011 homes released for sale.
