Villarenters.com launches iPhone app

Choosing the perfect villa for your holiday can be overwhelming. However the new iPhone app from villarenters.com makes it simple by offering six categories: luxury, beach, party, retreats, gastro and staff picks.

Each category has initially just 10 hand-picked properties ensuring that the focus is constantly on showcasing the very best from the larger villarenters.com site.

General manager James Marchant said: “Picking the perfect villa can be tricky due to the abundance of choice – we’re hoping that the categories we’ve designated will enable people to make an informed choice with the least hassle possible.

“We will update each collection regularly and also change the categories to keep fresh content coming to the app. You can also share villa details with your friends and family through Facebook, twitter and email which is an important part of the holiday planning process.”

The app allows users to scroll through photographs of each property (including full-screen photos when tilted), check the pricing and availability as well as contacting the owner of the property. Google maps and customer reviews of each property as well as weather links for the region are also included and users can create a ‘Favourites’ list.

On top of this are links to share the app with friends on social media sites including twitter and Facebook, and to add the app to your ‘favourites’ list.
