Cheat at creating the perfect Valentine’s Day experience

4th January 2011 Print

If you struggle to come up with the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day, or just want to spoil your other half, why not put the expertise of the Royal Garden Hotel’s concierge team to the test?

The Kensington hotel has launched a dedicated Personal Valentine’s Shopper service, which aims to help busy professionals, or simply those lacking inspiration, in finding the right gift.

The service is free to guests who have booked a stay at the hotel from 11th -15th February. Guests wanting to use the Personal Valentine’s Shopper will just need to ring or email the hotel’s concierge on concierge@royalgardenhotel.co.uk quoting their booking reference. They will then be asked to provide a few details on their partner’s age, likes, dislikes and personality and ideal budget and the concierge will do the rest.

In addition, visitors to the hotel’s website royalgardenhotel.co.uk and Facebook page will be able to view its specially created London Proposal Guide free of charge. Created by Head Concierge and London expert, Rob Shorter, the guide will be live from 1st February and will include the best places for a romantic meal in the city, proposal locations which are guaranteed a ‘yes’ and ways of making a romantic evening out of the ordinary and truly memorable. There will also be the opportunity for visitors to submit their own proposal stories on the Facebook site for the chance to win a three course dinner in the hotel’s Park Terrace Restaurant for two.

For those not lucky enough to win, diners can still take advantage of the Park Terrace’s romantic Valentine’s menu. This includes a glass of Canard-Duchêne Rosé on arrival, a choice of starter, main meal and desert including a Royal Garden Valentine’s chocolate indulgence to share and a special gift for each couple. The full menu can be found at royalgardenhotel.co.uk and is priced at £140.00 per couple.

From 11th-15th February, a King Room is priced from £183.00 per night, while a Garden Room, with its views overlooking Kensington Park gardens, is available priced from £216.00 per night. For more information, or to book, visit the hotel’s website - royalgardenhotel.co.uk.
